Learning to Slow Down and Look at the Wildflowers

For how much I time I spend admiring, touching, and smelling wildflowers, I am terrible at identifying them. The purple ones? Lupine or aster. Yellow? Sunflower, maybe? Except I recently learned that sunflower involves a whole family.

This summer, I decided that will change. Part-watercolor, part-passion project, here are some of the places my quest has taken me.
